Wrangell Roost Lodge at Hart D Ranch
A short drive from the Alaska Highway, between Tok and Anchorage, Wrangell Roost Lodge is 264 miles north-east of Anchorage, AK, and 66 miles south-west of Tok.
Hart D Ranch is located at mile 0.5 Nabesna Road, in Slana, Alaska, just off the Tok Cut-off, mid-way between Tok and Gakona. Hart D Ranch provides a beautifully decorated B & B Lodge facility and groomed RV Park.
We recommend Wrangell Roost Lodge as an overnight destination for travelers passing between Alaska and the Yukon, and for those wishing to explore the northern entrance to the magnificent Wrangell St Elias National Park.
Turning on to the Nabesna Road, you'll find Wrangell Roost Lodge 1/4 mile beyond the National Park Slana Ranger Station, adjacent to the Slana Post Office. Accommodations are available at Wrangell Roost Lodge all year long.
Deluxe rooms have one or two queen size beds, and private baths with shower and tub. The rate ($139/night dbl occupancy) includes a continental breakfast in the morning.
Hart D Ranch is the home and studio of long time Alaska resident and Bronze Sculptor, Mary Frances DeHart. The Gallery displays bronze sculptures, prints, phots, and embroidery items for sale.
Mary Frances is also a breeder of a unique little dog, the Afenpincher.
