Shuttle Service to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park


Wrangell-St.Elias Tours provides direct shuttle service between Anchorage and McCarthy twice per week in the summer months.

Wrangell-St. Elias Tours is a reliable way to get to McCarthy and Kennicott in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park,  with a minimum of travel expense and time.

Travel the McCarthy Road with a knowledgeable driver/guide.  You can be picked up in Anchorage, Glennallen, or Chitina.

Travel the McCarthy Road in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park without conflicting bus schedules, rental car costs, parking fees, or vehicle and tire damage.

We provide daily shuttles to McCarthy and Kennicott from the Copper River Valley.   We also have a direct, one-day shuttle between Anchorage and McCarthy that runs twice per week with a four person minimum.

Ask us about private transfers for individuals and groups when your travel dates or locations do not fit into our scheduled shuttles.  Custom tours and transportation requests are welcome.  Please reserve early to assure availability.

2010 is the 100th anniversary of the Copper River and Northwestern Railway.  One hundred Alaska winters is a lot to endure.   
I am making a personal commitment to get more people out to McCarthy and Kennicott in 2010 by offering 50% off shuttles to McCarthy every Thursday.  


Travel to the footbridge for $37 per person. There will be a free return trip departing from the footbridge at 2:00 pm.  
For those who want to stay longer, the 6:00 pm return trip is available for $37 per person.  When you add
round-trip guided van service to McCarthy, the museum, and Kennicott, you get the full 12.5 hour tour for $99.
