The Mad Bluebird B & B      The Mad Bluebird B & B is a rustic cottage in the woods, located halfway between Copper Center and Chitina, AK, on the historic Old Edgerton Highway.       The Mad Bluebird B & B is 40 miles south of Glennallen and 85 miles from McCarthy.  It's a great location for convenient day trips to Valdez, Chitina and McCarthy.      This 2-level guest cottage has a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, refridgerator, coffee pot, tea kettle, dishes and utensils.  The kitchen is stocked with breakfast items for a make-your-own continental breakfast any time.        The cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family, or for two couples traveling together.        There is a queen bed in the upstairs bedroom and a sofa sleeper-couch in the main room.         With the sleeper-couch the cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people.          The Mad Bluebird B & B is a rustic cottage with carpet, electricity, heat, radio, and linens.  There is no TV, and no indoor plumbing.  Water jugs and a clean outhouse add to your rural Alaskan experience.
