Currant Ridge Cabins
Newly constructed and located far on the McCarthy Road in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve, Currant Ridge Cabins are perhaps the nicest private accommodations in this part of Alaska. Comfortably furnished and spacious, you'll feel pampered by your log guest house, when you relax in a hot bath, nap on the queen bed in your private bedroom, play cards, stay up late, and make yourself at home while you plan your adventures in the McCarthy-Kennicott area.
All of the kitchen utensils and pots and pans are provided to cook a gourmet meal and serve it indoors or outside on your private deck, so bring your favorite foods.
The kitchen comes complete with a standard stove, oven, refrigerator, and complimentary coffee and tea.
You'll find all the comforts of home here including 24/7 electricity, endless water and private bathrooms.
The private bedroom has a queen-size bed.
A queen sleeper sofa in the main room provides additional sleeping space.
The private bathroom has a full-sized bathtub, toilet, sink, and shower. All electrical power is produced, stored, and used on site.
Six log guest houses are arranged along a ridge, with a buffer zone of vegetation between each unit to ensure your privacy. Each guest house is a short walk from the parking area.
The nightly rate for a cabin at Currant Ridge Cabins is $169/night for 1-2 people.
(Add $20/night for each additional guest.)
Reservations require a 50% deposit, by check or credit card. The balance will be collected on arrival.
Reservations made less than 30 days from the date of arrival must be paid in full.
Currant Ridge Cabins have a 30 day cancellation policy.
